Dilip Kurani - Sr. Occupational Therapist & Sp. Educator
I have been with The Research Society since 1980. I joined just after a graduated.
Evaluation, Treatment & Training of person with developmentally Handicapped (Infant to adult), Counseling and guidance to parents, Community Based Rehabilitation, lecturer for Human resource development, conducting awareness and sensitizing programme for different stake holders in Maharashtra.
It has been a wonderful working experience and has never made me think of moving elsewhere or regretting an offer to work in Australia. My professionalism has grown along with the institution like a Banyan tree and my experience has developed in various fields and given me full professional satisfaction.
Mrs. Meghana Arun Vipradas. - Hon. Administrator
I started in this Institute as a Resource Teacher sent by NASEOH (National Society For Equal Opportunities For Handicapped). Then I became a permanent special educator here and moved on to eventually become the Vice Principal of the Jai Vakeel School. After 24 years I retired and am now working with the institute as Hon. Administrator.
These 28 years have been very satisfying as well as a great learning experience for me. Working with special children has helped me to grow as a human being, and be grateful to God for all that I have. These children also if given the right training, opportunities and love can live a happy and dignified life.
Ms. Chetna Bhatt – Project Coordinator
"We tend some special flowers" these were the words on the book called short history which was given to me to read when I came here for the interview for the post of Biochemist. I joined in 1998 & my 20 years experience has confirmed the above statement as each child is blooming like a flower here.
My job involves, Biochemical Investigations in children with Mental Handicap, and I am also involved in various activities of the institute as a Coordinator.
There is so much of life here that we forge the outside world when we are with these children. I will never think of leaving this institute and children who are source of strength - the strength that helps me to fight all the odds.
