Bhairavi Kulkarni (Volunteer who helps with Art & Design. Also art work for the
      website)

Working with children gives me a sense of contentment and when it's special children it just makes it more special. The amount of hard work put in by every member of The Research Society motivated me to do something more and beyond, and participate in every way I can.

Having worked with special children made it easier for me to understand the design requirement. Guidance and Support from Occupational Therapist Dr. Urmi Sardesai, The Research Society and inputs from Prof. S. Rege helped give my design a better perspective. Art & Design have always been my passion and working with The Research Society added a whole new meaning to it.

Meher Gandevia - Billimoria – Consultant to Vocational Training Department

The RS was one of the 3 NGOs I short listed when I decided to start volunteering. My first visit to the RS confirmed that this was the place I would be happy to be a part of.

Once you enter the campus, you are in a different world, and the total commitment & dedication of the staff has really made me realize that each one of us has the capacity to give in our own way. The experience is something that can’t be easily described, but at the same time it is strong and makes you feel and grow in a particular way. It is all those small things that you could never know they existed, if you hadn't lived through them on your own. In the next few months, I hope that they will be filled with similar learning experiences, challenges, and good times.
