- 10 students from the residential section with border line intelligence were sponsored by Ms. Vrinda Mahadevia to enjoy a play on Ramayan on 14th October 2011.
- 38 children from our institute enjoyed one of the biggest Diwali Party organized by Salaam Bombay Foundation and Madhu Mehta Foundation.
Sponsorship for Investigations:
Diagnosis of the cause of mental retardation (MR) is the most important step in the management of the child with MR. This year we have 150 children who need sponsorship assistance for medical and other investigations which will enable us to diagnose the cause of MR. All these children are form the lower socio-economic strata of society. These investigations help in planning therapeutic, educational program for the affected child as well as helps in counselling parents for the management and rehabilitation of the child and for guiding parents of the affected child who are planning future pregnancies.
Cost of sponsorship of each investigation is Rs. 5,500
